I would like to really thank you for everything you did. You are truly a blessing and a role model for young adults to look up to. As you know I was at Huston Tillotson University the fall semester of 2007 and couldn't afford to pay it all so that I could register for the spring of 2008. This was partially due to procrastination and lack of financial aid, but you helped me step up and prepare for the upcoming semester and for the rest of my life.

UBE helped me through so many things that took place in my life.  I first started the program when I was in middle school and if it wasn't for UBE, I wouldn't have made it.  UBE helped me learn to control my attitude and keep my level headed.   They put me in my place when needed to be, but at the same time was a friend to me and was my inspiration when all else failed.  UBE also helped me get into HT and when I say helped, I mean they had to push me to get it done, because college was not on my agenda at the time.  But, now two years later, I am grateful because through school I've found a job that is in the field of my studies and support that can't be beat.

Urban Breakthrough Enterprises, Inc. illustrates a true passion for education.  UBE can take one idea and turn it into an entire workshop encompassing levels of learning for different grades as well as for parents.  Through their involvement, and overall commitment, to Mt. Sinai's College and Career Workshop over the years, it is without a doubt, that all who have participated have gained more in-depth knowledge that will benefit them throughout their school years.
